In this week’s self care, I want you to set your statement of intention.


Your Self-Care task for Week 3 — Intention
Your task this week is to set your statement of intention regarding an area of your life that you would like to change.

I gave my example of work related changes from 6 years ago.

You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step

Make your statement as detailed as possible, no abbreviations, write it out in the back of your journal and then every day, take 5 minutes, find a peaceful space, and read your statement of intention out loud or silently to yourself. The words you write need to have feeling, they need to mean something to you, and the 5 minutes gives you the focus and concentration to make your statement of intention come into the forefront of your mind.
Once you have done this, and practised this, every evening have a little check in to see if you have taken any steps towards achieving your intention.
No matter how small those steps or how big, recognise that the important thing is to see the direction you want your life to head in.
